 Rates

Following are the rates and charges for the services we provide at Wide Horizon as of July 1, 2008:

CHRISTIAN SCIENCE NURSING CARE (CSNC): [more info]

  • $385 / day - Single occupancy room that includes room & board and Christian Science nursing services (average of 5.5 hours per day), predominately by Journal-Listed Christian Science Nurses (JLCSN). A qualified patient at this level of care may be eligible for Medicare coverage. (Wide Horizon reserves the right to bill for coverage of CS nursing care at $50/hour and will notify patient/family prior to charging for additional CS nursing hours when this situation occurs.)

CHRISTIAN SCIENCE NURSING CARE 5 (CSNC 5) : [more info]

  • $330 / day - Single occupancy room includes room & board and Christian Science nursing services (up to 4.5 hours per day).

CHRISTIAN SCIENCE NURSING CARE 4 (CSNC 4): [more info]

  • $275 / day - Single occupancy room includes room & board and Christian Science nursing services (up to 3.5 hours per day).

CHRISTIAN SCIENCE NURSING CARE 3 (CSNC 3): [more info]

  • $220 / day - Single occupancy room includes room & board and Christian Science nursing services (up to 2.5 hours per day).

CHRISTIAN SCIENCE NURSING CARE 2 (CSNC 2): [more info]

  • $165 / day - Single occupancy room includes room & board and Christian Science nursing services (up to 1.5 hours per day).

CHRISTIAN SCIENCE NURSING CARE 1 (CSNC 1): [more info]

  • $140 / day - Single occupancy room includes room & board and Christian Science nursing services (up to 1 hour per day).

REST AND STUDY : [more info]

  • $90 / day - Private guest room in Horizon House, for the purpose of spiritual renewal, includes three meals & housekeeping.

SPECIAL RATE

  • $70 / day - Family members of a patient, CS practitioners, CS teachers, and CS nurses, administrators and board members of CS nursing facilities (includes meals).

Notes

Additional Charges - Supplies, grooming and personal items, beautician fees, telephone service fees, and other miscellaneous items, are all charged directly to the guest on his/her monthly billing statement.

Financial Assistance/Benevolence - It is the policy of The Board of Directors that no person be deprived of the blessing of Wide Horizon's care for financial reasons. All requests for financial assistance should be made directly to the Administrator.

Medicare -Patient pays first $1024 "deductible" for the initial 60-day covered stay, if eligible. During the 61st through the 90th days, the patient pays first $256 per day.
