Rates and additional charges for the services provided at Wide Horizon as of July 1, 2010:

CHRISTIAN SCIENCE NURSING CARE Level 1: [more info]

  • $150 / day – Single occupancy room includes room & board and Christian Science nursing services (up to 1 hour per day).

CHRISTIAN SCIENCE NURSING CARE Level 2: [more info]

  • $180 / day – Single occupancy room includes room & board and Christian Science nursing services (up to 2 hours per day).

CHRISTIAN SCIENCE NURSING CARE Level 3 : [more info]

  • $240 / day – Single occupancy room includes room & board and Christian Science nursing services (up to 3 hours per day).

CHRISTIAN SCIENCE NURSING CARE Level 4: [more info]

  • $300 / day – Single occupancy room includes room & board and Christian Science nursing services (up to 4 hours per day).

CHRISTIAN SCIENCE NURSING CARE Level 5: [more info]

  • $360 / day – Single occupancy room includes room & board and Christian Science nursing services (up to 5 hours per day).

CHRISTIAN SCIENCE NURSING CARE Level 6: [more info]

  • $420 / day – Single occupancy room that includes room & board and Christian Science nursing services (average of 6 hours per day), given predominately by Journal-Listed Christian Science Nurses (JLCSN). A qualified patient at this level of care may be eligible for Medicare coverage. (Wide Horizon reserves the right to bill for coverage of C.S. nursing care at $60/hour if the care is over 6.0 hours/day and will notify patient/family prior to charging for additional C.S. nursing hours when this situation occurs.)

SUPERVISED RESIDENTIAL LIVING (Horizon House):

  • $2,100 / month – Private beautifully decorated room in Horizon House for individuals who need no nursing care, includes housekeeping, laundry and daily meals.

REST AND STUDY (Horizon House): [more info]

  • $90 / day – Private guest room in Horizon House, for the purpose of spiritual renewal, includes three meals & housekeeping.

SPECIAL RATE (Horizon House):

  • $70 / day – Family members of a patient who are Christian Scientists, Christian Science practitioners, teachers and nurses, as well as administrators and board members of Christian Science nursing facilities (includes meals).
Notes

Additional Charges – Supplies, grooming and personal items, beautician fees, telephone service fees, and other miscellaneous items, are all charged directly to the guest on his/her monthly billing statement.

Financial Assistance/Benevolence – It is the policy of The Board of Directors that no person be deprived of the blessing of Wide Horizon’s care for financial reasons. All requests for financial assistance should be made directly to the Administrator.

Medicare -For 2010 the patient pays first $1,100 “deductible” for the initial 60-day covered stay, if eligible. During the 61st through the 90th days, the patient pays first $275 per day.
